heya pple…a few days din blog le..due to being busy with all my work… here is a promised update on the 1st part of the cinema4d course…

Hmm…today was my first training session at Solutions 3, Mun Hean Building, 53 Kim Keat Road, Opposite NKF Building. Before that, SW messaged Hendri and asked if the building was Mun Meat Building… *dots… it was so totally hilarious when I saw the sms.. .muhahaha…
There were 13 of us attending this training provided by solutions 3 and using the software promptly known as Cinema4d. User interface is friendlier than Blender 3D. hehe…
Then the course started..initially was ok and then got more and more lost as the trainer, James was like blazing through the tutorials on introduction to Cinema4d user interface as well as the usage of the tools to produce our stuff… I was like oh my god… I am totally lost… simply so frustrated till wanna give up…it was this bad… *even pple could see the frown on my face lol…
Then when we had our break…most of us were like complaining that the pace was somewhat too fast for most of us to handle… then we gave feedback to the instructor and he went slower, much to my delight. I managed to come out with my first 3D model of a mug..hehe… and after rendering it.. it has a red glow and was totally so beautiful that I screenshot it… gee… that was my breaking in to 3D designing….
SO cool… but it tests your patience as u slowly try to figure out how to model the shapes… and I discovered that the objects we see in everyday life are made up of primitives shape (Editor’s note: Real life objects are based on primitives instead of made up of them. 
)… hmm…maybe it will take me a while to get used to figuring out how to visualize the complex shapes into simple shapes…
After the course..which ended at 1.45 pm, we were held back for a discussion with the arts director… and we sort of haven decided what software to use for the animation thingy due next June… Wat the hell..cos we had few meetings harping on the same agenda…
Walked under the unforgivable weather and ate our lunch near whompoa road. *how u spell it? Ate fishball noodles..which was very spicy..and it was a mistake to do cos of gastric problems that I am facing nowadays…. Crap..but too late cos I realized that after the food came and I had paid for it. Haha…
Then my friend and I went to the new National Library Building….the place was spacious, huge, cool and nice but one gripe…not enough seats…ended up on the carpet floor and typing my blog entry of the day and checking out wat kind of 3d model we had come out. Still having difficulty with certain tools and techniques..oh well..got to sort it out asap before next Saturday which will be the 2nd lesson liao…
Coming up next week, maths quiz..need to drill more questions… its like I am done with the topics..but need practice.

Yesterday almost suffered asthma attack.. something in the tutorial room 122 triggered chest tightness…which promptly left me gasping for air like a fish out of water >< *so jia lat…
Wat to do.. then went to eat dinner like only close to 8..then took train cum bus home..reached home at 9.30 pm…then dumped my stuff..washed up.
But hey, I was in for a treat… cos my dad cooked doubled boiled ginseng with black and white chicken. Hehe…its so good I wished there were seconds… hahaha… I am so touched… then went online to msn…then maple..more chatting and finally packed my stuff and slept after midnight… so hilarious.. but then I could not sleep not becos of excitement… but my shoulders are still aching like crazy..
Well… my shoulders still hurt argh…………………… haha… LOL… guess I got to practice my CINEMA 4D… *anyone wanna go buy 4d? then….strike first prize sponsor NTU SIGGRAPH unlimited licenses for the software…

Ok, back to today's entry.. had maths class and then went to can 2 for lunch... since got time to explore... tried the tom yam fish soup...okie..so-so... theresia tried the sze chuan fried rice and commented that its not nice... hendri tried the vietamese food..and thinks its ok too... but its pretty comfortable..with air-con..but its smaller than can A and can B.
on our way there.... i felt like a total noob cos i still dunno the shortcuts and way around ntu.. haiz..cos i dun live in halls... then later i went to SAC where theresia disappeared to her hall to rush sum project printouts and hendri to his lab class...so i was all alone there.... and i was freezing away... >< tutorial ended super early today...and decided to take 154 cum 28 home... the journey was ok..slept quite a while and i am like left with aching neck..cos was so stiff... hehe...at the same time bored to death...finally reached home at around 5.30 pm... now as i am blogging, my dad is cooking dinner...and i have a towel wrapped around my head..muhahaha...
speacking of which, 4 days countedown to quiz...oh man~!!! i haven started studying.... ><
