backtracking time =X

21st May

Its my third aunt bdae. =) haha, and its also the New Paper Big Walk 2006, the last big walk flagging off national stadium. The Guy and I made our way there to join in~!! We registered for the walk and turn up in our new paper big walk tees… I promptly looked like a scarecrow… :S

The weather is really hot~! And I think both of us got a slight tan, cos my skin darkern and the pale skin covered by my watch went lighter… @-@

Took loads of pictures, with very uniquely dressed pple, and boy, do they happily ham it up for our cameras~!!

Haha, then we stop over and had a drink at the mid point pit stop. Changed our roll of film… we are using the SLR camera as well as the digital camera.

More coming rite up, once i get the long overdue pictures…

** My blog is supposedly to undergo a new layout change, but due to a lack of time currently, I can’t work on it~!! Arrgh, Thanks to my commitment for DD 06.

** Perhaps I should migrate over to joomla for my blog… wanna learn more abt joomla, and the best is u get dirty with it

Sista~ 17th bdae ^^ Happy birthday to U ~!!! Hahaha, went out to buy the fabulous, yummylicious mango cake from Bengawan Solo (her fav) LoL…

The Guy and I decided to get a box of giant chocolate sticks haha… and well we got her a cute looking plush toy, hehe… and she really liked it~ the card features her fav character, tare panda

I got back my laptop, and hopefully, this is one of the last woes it will have… well, it seems that BIOS was nt the updated version as well as the graphic card drivers, which resulted the hardware to act funny… according to the service engineer… haha, seems mine is not the only one having the same problem…

And then I might just get a new LCD panel replaced for me… yay~!! cos the spots there can’t remove thru cleaning… oh well…

Today, modified the poster and hopefully start embarking on the SMRT ad… asap… now waiting for more news…

Sister bdae is coming, any idea where to get a nice cake?

heyhey, these days just flew past in a blur… lol… coming saturday is my sis bdae. and on 21st, Sunday, we are going to The New Paper Big Walk~ yay~!!

tml gonna collect back my laptop from the service center and hopefully, everything will be alright~ got myself a new phone… cos my sony e one got damaged… *sad*

Been very involved in DD work, and we have made good progress… secured our platinum sponsor at last… and all things are set to roll out…

tension here and there, but no choice la… lol… glad that its working out slowly… and being in publications is like rushing all the time… lol… but its enjoyable and i am having loads of fun playing and designing…. =)

The Guy and I have bought something for my sis. Ssshshshsh… not telling, will unveil it pretty soon….

wat an adventure… or should i say, i almost panicked to death… it all started at Siggraph Room, was there to do DD work. Theresia joined me in the afternoon… It din dawn onto us that there were severe lightning, though we heard loud thunder and rain…

Then Theresia laundry were drenched by the rain.. cos she could not get back in time to collect them… after that we proceeded to continue doing our stuff there… at around 5 plus, i wanted a toilet break.

happily went to open the door… to my horror… the familiar “click” sound din come at all… Uh oh… =S tried frantically to unlock the door a few more times… but the lock wun budge… dies… we were all trapped in the room… and we din know who to call for help…. until The Guy came… he knocked on the door…

I said, the door is locked… we can’t open… then when he saw the card reader… he was like oh no… cos the card reader panel displayed, power failure… and as a result, all the doors are securely locked… which can be a good and bad thing. The good thing is that, everything in the room is secured… but the bad thing, in case of fire…how to get out?

By then, Theresia and I panicked… we tried to calm down… The Guy helped alot, by talking to us thru the gap at the door… it was relieving, to know that you are not alone in such a situation…

The room, by then, is already very cold, and we are all freezing in there whilst waitng for help to arrive. The Guy went to the General Office and called for campus Security. 15 mins passed and no one came… Die la, are we gonna be trapped till the following day? since tml is a public holiday…

then Theresia called campus security again, and we were told that someone would be sent to unlock the door for us…

another 15 mins went by… this time, there was indeed someone who came to unlock the door for us…

key punching sounds… were heard, and then voila, we are out of the room… my, that was scary… The Guy is happy both of us are safe… i was quite scared out of my wits… cos its the first time being locked in.. =S

relieved…

hi everyone,

Just to inform ya that my mobile phone got damaged… the lcd part went haywire… all becos of a single drop to the floor… heart break, cos my mum bought this phone for me… I am so careless… in any event thats urgent to contact me, gimme a call. Don’t sms. cos I can’t read the messages….

busy is nt the word to describe the stae i am in rite now… its like… double whammy crisis la… sad… and loads of deadlines to meet =S

Yesterday was one of the best dates The Guy and The Gal had at this point in time… hehe… well we went cycling at east coast~ During the day, the weather threaten to derail our plans… cos it was stormy and rainy in the morning… The Guy reached my place at about 11 am, and then it rained… Sigh…

Cooked a simple meal of (instant) noodles with prawns and eggs for The Guy and my mum. Hee… and guess wat? The Guy can peel raw prawns pretty well… considering that he rarely helps out in the kitchen… thats so sweet of him to help… hee… the prawns are so fresh… and there wasn’t any fishy smell =)

Then he stayed in the kitchen and watch me cooked the meal…aww… *blush*… mum had tomyam noodles whilst we had the fried noodles… haha… then we shared tom yam beehoon… cos The Guy was hooked on chilli… wahaha…. then i made cocoa drink for us all… wat a simple yet satisfying lunch…

After that, it stilled rain… so we decided to backup the data in my laptop before sending it to service… then the weather was fine… so we thought… why not go there now? cos initially we wanted to postpone due to bad weather… haha… so a quick change of clothes and out we went to east coast…

at east coast, we rented 2 bikes… and of we go… and explored east coast together… haha… from area A to area G, its about 20 km.we cycled from area B to area G, since area A is under some construction… means we did 15 km… to and fro is whoa… 30km we did that… yippe… *high five*

no date is complete without the picts… shall upload them real soon…. haha… i am so happy… hope u are feeling the same too The Guy… =) aww….

of to a good start this morning… hehe… and tried all the clothes my cousin passed to me… whee… so pretty… =) hehe… will keep some for my bdae methinks otherwise… mum’s gonna say i am so vain once again… yes I am vain…
