Who? My acad mentor…

Went to see him to discuss my options abt the timetable load… I wanted to do a 4 Core and 1 GE Module… but that has resulted in undesirable clashes… was still having hopes abt getting that resolved… but…unfortunately, I can’t take my CSC 207 – Software Engineering I becos of a lecture clash, which is nt possible to resolve… (and this was validated by the admin in charge of planning timetable…)

So means, I will be taking CSC 201 – Microprocessor Programming, CSC 204 – Computer Graphics and Applications, CSC 105 – Java and OOP, and 2 GE. So that will be 3 Core Modules and 2 GE Modules which will give me an acad load of 18 AUs… not too light and not too heavy… and was given advice to pick GEs that’s ending early, so that I will have enough rest and time to revise and study. Will heed that advice.
My mentor said that the situation that I am going through now is what many others are going through also, and I am not alone. This somewhat made me sigh with relief… it sure suck to find out that u flop a subj, but it may be a blessing in disguise… perhaps.. I can only now hope…
Not too bad, the next problem I have is to find another GE that I wanna have… and when I am done, send my timetable for review…and seek opinions… =)
I guess, that’s a blessing in disguise, somehow makes me seat up and take notice… aww… and also, there is a silver lining after all…

Targets for all 5 subjects? B+. That’s the grade I need to get in order to save myself from the threat of being kicked out of course. I have to start working really hard… =) My priority now is to pass my CSC 105, and pull my GPA up. I believe i can do it…
And that means, gd bye ECA, although u brought me so much fun and enjoyable moments, all these have to end… and thanks for finding me such a lovely bf, The Guy. =D

In all, its been a journey of up’s and down’s… i finally found a way out of this sticky mess, nth much i can do… except to look on the brighter side of things… learn and remember my life lessons well, never to repeat the same mistake again. and work really really hard…

After the appointment, met The Guy and Theresia for lunch. and then went to Theresia’s hall to get some stuff, cos she is shifting hall and have some unwanted stuff for me… yay~! haha, after that, learnt that she is flying off tml for home, due to some emergencies that has occurred back there, take care, have a smooth journey…Bon Voyage~!!

Wanted to play pool, so The Guy suggested Nanyang House, where they have some pool and billiards table… but they were all taken up… oh well.. then we went to canteen 2 to chill out over fruit punch, waffle and muah chee… then went to JP to look for some presents and gifts for The Guy’s family members.. . since i can’t make it for the trip… hee…

then, we went to grab dinner… and then off to home I go… sleeping in the train till it reaches tampines… haha…

nt a bad day, considering i found a solution to all that sticky mess… oh well… =)

I really dunno what to do… Guess start shelving certain plans, cos I know I will never find that time to go to places badly… no chance during this vacation… =’(

Tml I am meeting my acad mentor… and am still stuck whether to take a 3 CORE 2 GE or 4 CORE 1 GE timetable load next sem, difference? One AU difference, and the difference in category of modules. Vexed… cos the 4 CORE 1 GE plan has so many clashes.. on the other hand, i need to find another GE or rather, few backup GE to add into my own timetable… when the add/drop period is on…

Today is Father’s Day. Happy Father’s Day… Daddy… =)

I guess I need another round of timeout… considering that holidays are meant for resting…

Perhaps its my mind thats really is tired from everything…

Heya all… yest was a really shiok day… all started with meeting The Guy at City Hall to hunt for our event SMRT ad… YES~!!! We are featured =) haha…  at 4 locations… City Hall, Orchard, Somerset and Bugis~!! Do check them out ya?!

Then we headed to Food Republic to eat Chicken rice… Nice~!! Was really yummy…but the dessert treat was yummier~! the Ice Kachang we had was so sweet and mine, the portions are generous… =)

We then headed over to iSHOP by Club 21 at Cineleisure, where 2D Imaging course were conducted… =) haha… nt bad at all… and the instructor is really young and pro… =D

Then after wrapping up the workshop, we went off for dinner… there were 5 of us… Listya, Wai Fong, Kenneth, The Guy and The Gal. Dinner was at Le Meriden Hotel, Treats Food Court… where I tried the Thai Food… Shiok~!!! Had Tom Yam Seafood Soup with Rice…. haha, The Guy had pad thai…  nt bad… haha…

After that, instead of going home as usual, the 5 of us went to play pool~!! Yay~!! so fun… its been quite a while since I last played pool… everyone had fun though… ^^ haha…  We were laughing away and enjoying the game… Wanna go again? *smirk*

I emailed my professor for advice… and she called me, to explain to me… well this beats better than email, cos sometimes, the message gets misinterpreted…

Its a pity, since i flunk that subj, there is no way i can take a subj concurrently, that is no CSC 202 and CSC 203 for me… which is well… may affect my graduation… so gonna be retained for an extra semester… *Its a bit hard to judge this right now, but if I plan carefully enough, perhaps, I can…*

She advice me to take 4 core and 1 GER, which gives me close to 20 AUs. and that I should concentrate on pulling up my GPA… otherwise, I am in a greater danger… of being kicked out of course… now thats nt the ending i want ok… I want to graduate at the end of it all…

On the other hand, should I do 3 Cores and 2 GER if I really cannot squeeze everything in? =X

Oh on another note:

CSC 180, CSC 181 and CSC 182 are renamed as HW110, HW210 and HW310 respectively. Its under the AHSS faculty, but it will remain as the one of the core’s we have to take…

FYI: CSC183 and CSC184 will nt be offered this coming semester. This is based on my understanding between the prof and I. *Disclaimer: Not responsible if the information is incorrect* Cos there are many changes being made to the curriculum…

Heya… another day has come… LoL… just yesterday then receive news that the July issue ad is due in like 2 days?!?! Oh my god… How am I to finish it? There ought to be a way… methinks…

Argh, having headache planning my timetable, because of uncertainty.. thus meeting my acad mentor coming monday @ 11.30 am. Hopefully, all my queries and concerns will be answered. Now all i can say, uncertainty is certainly the mood rite now… cos I dunno, dunno if I still can graduate on time… =X
Gonna tidy up my mini pile of Junk. and then perhaps chill out a lil… too much on my head… =(

Pirates~!!

Hidden in another corner of raffles city square reveals a tresure of LEGO Pirates~!!! Wow… yet another spectacular piece done. took abt 49 k of lego bits to put them together… and abt 3XX Hours to complete… Woo… thats one masterpiece which is so beautiful… =)
