went to the singapore garden festival … and yeah, its very very worth the student price to go visit the place. its a feast for the eyes… a garden with beautiful blooms all over… wow… indeed… and i got loads of picts, some are blurred… oh well…

was there with hendri and his mum~ hee… and i would say that the venue is so huge that i could not finish touring the orchid section. haha but nevermind la, at least i manage to see the whole of the level 6, which houses the different landscapes made with flowers… =D its so beautiful… and the smell of the flower is terrific… =) Its way less crowded than expected, partially because of the rainy weather, and the darn cold air con there. The air con is quite cold… psosibly set to prevent the fresh flowers from deteriorating too quickly…

Most of the flowers we seen there are not native to singapore’s local bloom, but rather, different kinds of beautiful flowers that i have not even seen them myself yet…

This is to mark our first year anniversary… =)

wonder what kinda plant its inside… hmm… so i decided to plant it, at hendri’s insistence, yesterday night… the moment i reach home… out comes the can… hee…

I doubt the plant would bloom on 24th or 25th. Highly doubt, because of the cold weather….

If you can make out the water puddle of this photo, congrats. I seriously dunno the puddle was that bad… my gosh… its like separating the 2 shores with a mini river. In which case, the shore happens to be a shelter and the bus stop.

I took all this photos down, having in mind to write to the proper authorities to get something done about it, but then.. i din had to. it seems that someone already filed a complaint and by night, the puddle was gone, despite heavy rains. guess they sent someone to clear the choked drain. =)

As expected, my shoes and jeans were soaked. Its that bad raining and raining whole day.

PS: the weather is cool and the rains have stopped. Hurray~

the flood gates from the skies are open, and torrential rains are coming on on earth. it made my room so cold that i decided to sleep without the air con. =) and yeah, more disaster around singapore. floods, landslides, falling trees, and delaying flights. cant help it that the lunar winter solace is coming, and my mum always say, sure rain non stop one… once again, she’s right.

I had a wonderful day with hendri and his mum. haha… and yes, loads and loads of pictures to upload and blog about. =)

The rainy season in Singapore is awful. It keeps pouring and pouring, flooding the roads, puddles here and everywhere, my plants get flooded, aww… and yes, the cold winds that smack ur face when u walk. Not that I hate rains or have something against wet weather… but too much of it makes life miserable. Same thing goes for hot and dry weather. Haha.. Rather, i seek a balance in weather though. and yes, this balance is already thrown off balance. no doubt that pollution wreck havoc as well as other stuff… but oh well…

Was on call with Hendri and realized what happened to their flight. It turn out that the weather in Singapore was so bad that the pilot had to divert to Jarkarta Airport for refuel, so that the plane can circle above Singapore… It happened that the plane did npt have enough fuel to do so… thus the delay in arrival to Singapore. Even the departing flights out of Singapore are equally affected. Hmm.. see, the rainy weather also cause loads of stuff to be disrupted. LOL…

Update: Landed at 2332

Update: Delayed till 2325

Update: Flight was supposed to land at 2130, and it got re-timed to 2300. Now, its delayed to 2316.

I feel so disappointed. Hendri’s flight got re-timed. I had no choice but to adhere to the agreement we made earlier. In case of any delay, go home. So feeling awfully disappointed, i went home… the weather wasn’t very nice and i feel bad that Auntie have to put up with the cold and howling winds of the wet season in Singapore at the end of the year.

I did not have a good feeling when I did not see the Confirmed sign on the arrival screen… Was hopping that all will go well.. .but i’m disappointed.

I cant help it… although i know flight delays are common. I miss him too much.

Oh well…

Will blog later if i have the mood.

PS: rewarded with the sight of the runway at night, when the bus is on route to airport. its beautiful.
