had a great time shopping. poorer by 30 dollars. but very happy can get a nice sandal to wear. practical and gd. hee… din manage to get new clothes for new year, cos the designs are nt very nice and the crowds are getting too hostile these days. perhaps its the onset of rushing for everyone, from clothes to food. since vdae and new year is like so duper close to each other. oh well. never mind. got new sandals can liao. anyway, hendri got me another surprise gift. oh my gosh. =X

I also went to buy some cream for my hands and finger nails, cause they are getting really really dry, and i hate very dry skin. argh. it costs only $1.90. hee.

first time din go back to home during weekends. loads of work so decided to stay in… my roommate has moved out and will be coming back to do cleaning up work. speaking of which, i got nothing to spring clean, except the floor. haha… but other than that, nothing much else to do…

i guess i will be heading home on either friday night or saturday morning. see how it goes.

oh i forgot to mention that my sensitive nose symptoms are back~! grr… thanks to the weather… so says the doctor. because of the changing weather, my nose is the first to suffer. nth i can do. but if it gets to serious, he might prescribe me a nasal spray. but for now, just bear with it lo…

haha… thats me and my darn sensitive nose.

OK, time to get down to serious shit business.

my friday didn’t start off too well, but it ended well. hee… it all started with me feeling sick and irritated on thursday night due to onset of an irritated and sore throat, followed by dry coughing spells, and a whee bit of runny nose… thus decided to see the doctor, before it all gets worse and i won’t be able to enjoy my new year~ hee…

doctor prescribed me lozenges, flu tablets and cough mixture. a bit reluctant to eat the cough mixture, cos of codeine, that will make me sleep. i want to study. =X

lessons were alright, getting more and more cheem, but nonetheless enjoyable. hee… and yup, headed down to somerset to meet Hendri, where he took me to cuppage terrace and ate the MyBakMie there…

I ordered the seafood noodles… its wonderful and very nice, the noodles were springy and very nice to chew, plus the wonderful gravy that coats the noodles, tender squid, fresh prawns and fish, with slices of fish cake… haha, and oh, a wondeful tasty bowl of soup. Hendri had the special combo, complete with chicken, crispy dumplings (though they are nt exactly dumplings, but thats the closest i can think of). the price is reasonable and its very filling. haha, our only complain? the bowl to small to mix the noodles la… hahaha… but the taste is GOOD. must go and try. Die die must try.

then we bummed around orchard, and walked till takashimaya. and for the first time, i spotted something so nice from there. and its mine now. muhahahaha… but Hendri took it home. nt the right time for me to keep it yet hahaa…

hmm, we tried Lemon Grass Lemon drink… taste weird. first and last time i am buying that.

am feeling better, but the darn cough not going away. now no choice but to eat cough mixture. i dun want. *pout*

hee, i guess i gotta get started on my work. plenty to do. =X
