Took a short break today, and went out for dinner @ orchard’s lucky plaza, ayam penyet…

Went there quite a few number of times, and I remembered trying almost every dish there, but there are some which i haven tried yet… lol…

good food with my boyfriend as the dinner companion is the best thing i can ask for… lol… Both of us had the fried catfish set… and the sour soup, plus iced tea… its a great meal and we spend quite sometime there… chatting and eating… hee… what more could i ask for?

The catfish is fried to a total crisp and you can even crunch all the crispy bones.. hehe, and of course not forgetting the fiery chilli padi sauce, a slice of raw cabbage, some kangkong, tofu as well as Tempeh, which I gave to Hendri, since I don’t like it… hehe… The fish is outside crispy, inside soft, and well marinated… haha, and oh, there’s quite alot of bones, but its lovely…

Complement this with white rice… yuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm hahaha… and not forgetting the sayur asam (sour soup), which is a spicy and sour soup with vegetables like long beans, cabbage etc…

The Iced Tea is nice, and is so unlike our Singapore Tea-O Peng… it has a nice after-taste, and its not sweet at all, in contrary to what Hendri told me… hahaha, i like the tea very much… it’s light on the taste buds…

After dinner, we headed for ice cream… bailey’s flavour… from some ice cream stall at paragon basement… lovely.. the flavour of the ice cream is so robust that it leaves a nice milky and vanilla taste in the mouth… whee…

Haha, after reading all this, are u hungry?

Wow, my power nap turned out to be a 3 hr sleep instead. Feeling so tired after putting in all the late nights on the Software Engineering Project… and yes, my team is the first to present… and it went well, so relieved… hee… and yup, comments that i heard from my lab supervisor included that the design is neat… and blah blah blah… (*say some more i think pple will say i boast la*) Nevertheless, felt good about it… though there were complements about the design, i would say that there is still a lot of room for improvement, and will iron them out as i go along…

Now all that is left is the 2 page individual assignment due by Friday, and I am oh so determined to complete it asap. cos I want to study. rawr…

Enough said about studies… hehe…

I heart pfingo. without that, Hendri can’t call me as often as he likes!
I heart myself, loving myself is the best present I can give to myself.
I heart my friends, without them, I won’t be able to grow.

hahaha… Yes, its raining as i blog, and makes the weather feel kinda cool and nice… but well, i just woke up from sleep and i shall not be a lazy pig la.. lol… and yeah, having a good quality of sleep is better than sleeping for extremely long hours…
