Enjoy a beautiful song from Linkin Park, Leave Out All The Rest, done by someone in piano version.

Sunday, last day of term break. Damn it. But oh well… It officially mark the passing of mid-semester. Had a great time yesterday with Hendri again, as we headed to Changi Village as well as looking around for some formal clothing at tampines mall… I saw a blazer that I really liked as well as some beautiful formal tops
The view at Changi Village was breathtaking, allowing us to have a good view of landing aircraft at night
Enjoyed a sinful but delicious dinner, as well as a good time between us… Been such a long time since we got together
Friday evening was a blast, went out to meet Hendri for dinner… Wanted to go to toa payoh botak jones outlet..but the weather wasn’t kind to us… so had to make do with fast food for dinner lol… but thats ok… Its the company that matters, and it is truly a long long time since both of us had a meal together.
After that, went shopping and spotted a lovely red top… so I bought it… haha, and Hendri bought a green t-shirt too~! hehe… and I am really wondering, since when my wardrobe is getting more and more colourful? o,O haha, but I am really loving the new colours in the wardrobe…
I guess, my schedule is more or less packed again.
May blessed happenings continue to happen.

Apologies that I sound really off and way not my usual self… Guess that was the lowest I hit yesterday… A good book to read and a night of sleep later, I find myself going back to where I left off…
Feeling better, but still somewhat feeling vulnerable… I will be ok… Because I know you will support me, when I am out of my damn comfort zone.Still feeling the oh so dead shit, *stares at assignments* Oh well, time to really work my ass off… owe people stuff here and there, and I better get cracking clearing them
Seems like procrastination has started to cause some serious
shittrouble for me… but I am not going to let that ruin me. No way.Things to settle:
1) Read up Database for tml’s meeting
2) Compile some SE2 work for team meeting tml
3) Format OS Lab 2 report
4) Complete the damn AI report
5) Draw up feasibility case studyOne thing to look forward tomorrow is meeting mic! yay! I wonder which pingster is interested to join us…
It’s been a long time since I last met him… hehe

Just finished blogging about CodeXtremeApps. Congrats to Herry of Pluit solutions to be awarded the second prize for the competition.
I am currently feeling damn frustrated, and finding it so hard to complete my tasks. I feel rather burnt out for now… Honestly, I am damn aware of all the mounting deadlines but I just can’t will myself to work.
I really need a good hug right now. I need someone to assure me all is well, and encourage me to carry on… I just feel so jaded. I want to lie down and sleep.
Ok I shall stop here lest I get carried away, and seems like i blogged alot today.
Oh well.

And so the judging came and went… din manage to be shortlisted. oh well. thats ok… come to think of it, here are the breakdown of why I din do well enough…
Lack of time to master the stuff needed, because of the need to juggle sch work, project and assignments… and well, at least i have proven to myself that I can code and learn under pressure, and considering this is my first outing to a code jamming competition, it was fruitful exposure.
And yes, I can last the extremities of being isolated with other people in a room and focus on coding… something which i am scared about at first, and that my fears were largely unfounded.
I survived a 24 hr code jam. and I am looking forward to another one. and this time, i will have a better game plan.

At perfdata.com, they are selling new and refurbished servers, and I can’t help but check out what are their offerings…
I saw the new AS/400 IBM systems that they are selling. Plus a whole lot of other peripherals to add on to the current specifications of the server. For people who are on a budget, you might consider buying used components instead, that way, you still get the performance needed without overshooting the budget! Hmm, they even offer free shipping services!
A plus point is that they are IBM certified and that they are committed to customer satisfaction.
Oh yeah, their online inventory is so comprehensive that I am able to browse through and look for what I wanted! Indeed a wonderful site to do all my server shopping needs

Continuation from part 1… and of course, its a routine to code and code and code, coupled with breaks in between, to refresh the mind and the body… and of course, not to mention that it beats away the frustration too
Experienced frustrations trying to upload my work into the server… there were 8 competition servers and each team is assigned to a server depending on the team number… and with some technical help, was able to resolve all the uploading errors… and very soon, could do testing on the server itself
whee!During the course of competition, I found my skills leveling up by 2 or 3 times… haha, I guess the competition really brings out all everything one has, and I am yet again amazed that I can do things I previously thought not possible

This is so gonna be a long post.
Written at 9.50 am, 22nd September 2007.
Am at Macs. Plaza Singapura… Using the wonderful wireless.sg service… which timed out connections here and there… but still stable enough… haha, considering I am a first time user of Wireless@Sg. Haha… Anyway, am waiting for some friends now then heading over to SMU. This is a live blogging on the fly…
haha… had a nasty bout of runny stools… thinks i am just too jittery… (that happens when I am nervous)Had a huge breakfast and drank Latte. Doesn’t beat Geek Terminal’s one but better than nothing… Haha, drinking coffee… but still ok la… lol~ a coffee drink to kick start the day, not too bad… Met up with Shaun for breakfast and then Cheng Yi and Wei Jian… we then went to SMU – SIS building… Indicated our attendance at the guard post and headed to where the holding area will be
