in a corner of my bed, i sit there and ponder at issues of life, all the little pleasures in life, and feel nostalgic, happy, regret, amongst other emotions. sometimes i sit there and daydream, sometimes i sit there and stare aimlessly into the darkness, the space of my little home. sometimes a tune will just play in my head… and sometimes, my inner voice speaks.

its comforting to just sit there in the dark and ponder, for there is no one except yourself. perhaps it provides me a form of solace that i can turn to… perhaps perhaps perhaps…

throughout each day, i experience different things, new things learnt, which in turns refines me, which teaches me how to be a better person (hopefully)… perhaps all these happen for a reason, which will reveal itself someday. till then, each encounter can potentially unlock a new experience, lesson, and bestow upon the ability to learn and evolve accordingly.

i always believe in bouncing back up as quickly as possible when i fall, and not be afraid to question and ask when i don’t know things. :)

sometimes I see myself telling me how i will be like in the future. far cry from my present, and this will be something i will need to work towards to. till i realize it, that image shall remain elusive at the time being.

Its truly amazing what i can think and ponder through whilst sitting in the corner of the bed.

Am glad to say that I am done with OS Lab 3, as well as wrap up the project for SE 2 module. :) All I am left with is the Oral Assessment for OS, and AI Lab 3 Assignment to be completed. :) It feels good for now.

Shall not rest on my laurels. Instead, I must now strive to complete my studies and prepare for the upcoming examinations :)

    Respect. Awe.

2 words I can think of when I saw my dad doing work at Home. I always wonder where does he learn all those skills from… from cooking, to fixing electrical wiring, piping, doing the lighting systems and taking apart and assembling furniture… etc…

My home used to have a huge mirror overlooking the living room, and it was left to us by the previous owners whom sold us the flat. At first it was a welcome change, but after a few years, got sick and tired of it…

To make matters worse, as the frame is made of wood, it has started to warp over time and thus make the mirror look like it will topple overtime. (evident through the corners). Thus my parents decided to remove it…

It will make the living room feel bigger, and probably free up more space :) hehe… that would be so nice… :)

Heard a piece of good news today, there will be a changi circuit! woohoo! which means, when I own my sports car, I can go to the circuit and speed to my heart’s content (in a few years time probably) :) Hee… At last, the motor sports scene here is finally making headway :) Kudos!

Am extremely happy, because it has been a dream since young to drive fast cars, or at least sit in them for a spin. Even looking at these cars makes my heart sing with joy. I feel damn happy seeing a driver driving such cars. =X

Let me make a total count of how many Lancer EX I’ve spotted… Black, red, blue, 2 whites, 1 silver, that makes a total of 6 on the roads, excluding the one my friend is driving. Expecting more and more such cars to pop up on the roads. And I noticed a common traits in all the EX. They love to drive it at higher speeds than usual, overtaking other vehicles on the road :P *random observation*

Apart from that, Subaru WRX, Lancer GLX (older generation), Toyota Camry, Toyota Altis, Toyota Vios, Mazda 3, 6 are quite common too :P Ok, there are a lot of other common cars, and what I’ve listed is just some of it… :)

Nothing got my heart racing madly with joy is the Nissan GT-R for now… It’s so beautiful!!! Check out this link… for a look of the GT-R. *I want one!* Probably going to cost a bomb. *any sponsors ?!*

Another marvel is the Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Concept Car… Picture Link… The headlights look meaner, and sharper… haha… :) Friends who understand my interests about cars will know I have a thing for the car’s headlights :P

I love cars with good looking headlights, as I believe its what that gives me the first impression of the car itself. LOL. Funny but true… :P

I should start highlighting what are the cars that I really really like about :P haha… On the cards include the Lancer EX, the Lancer EVO, Nissan 350Z Roadster, Subaru WRX.

You people think that I have gone car mad… But I’ve always been car mad, just that I rarely show it :P haha… But to be frank, I love cars to bits… even the engine fascinates me… It’s a boy thing eh… as in only boys get excited over it… But, perhaps I am different.

Seeing the exterior of the car, the interior as well as the engine, its just as exciting as watching a driver drive the car… Each car provides different feel, and the experience differs from ride to ride. :) And of course, check out how each driver mods their car… and it speaks volume of their character! :D

I fantasize being able to own my dream car, as well as mod it to look unique and look good. Nothing beats being able to customize the car to reflect my personality as well as improving the performance of the car. Would love to get low-down and dirty with tinkering with the car… It would probably be one of the most expensive hobbies to keep :)

Till the day I own my own car, I shall have to be content as being a passenger, or a observer looking at cars…

Was surfing about aimlessly, and end up having the idea of a dream vacation… hee… and thus end up at Holiday Hypermart, a European Based travel services company… They have a wide rangs of offers on package holidays

Wow, they have various packages to places Canary Islands, Greece and Cyprus etc… hmm, their pricing are reasonable and with lodgings and stuff included, I am freed the hassle of planning for the vacation… or if I choose to, I can take charge and plan it according to my liking. Flexibility is the key! :)

Feeling much energised right now, and of course, that much needed long period of sleep as well as some comfort food plays a good part in it too… (if only life is like this everyday… it would be heaven! but alas… *reality sinks in*) and definitely, can’t wait to taste dad’s cooking again today! :) **Dad cooked steamed chicken with some sauce** (don’t ask me what sauce, all I can say it tastes awesome, but I don’t know the ingredient!)

Still nursing the blisters on my feet thanks to the flip flops, but it has also taught me to learn how to put up with such pain :P A simple piece of plaster, and voila, its done… *hearts plaster* :)

Wanting to pierce my ears… hehe… hmm… shall see what i can do about it after exams. :P Exams are coming, and shall give my very best in it… less than 3 weeks, its getting scarier!

A quick check on the progress of my e-learning… all done except one subject (AI), and loads and loads of assignments to clear. shall get myself into a better focus from tomorrow onwards, and finish the whole load of them =X yikes… I hate procrastinating work, yet I am one myself. BAD sia. =X

Ok, I shall now be off screaming BORING!!! into my pillows and drop dead to dreamland :) and got to go to school tml for class. @#*(*$&(@&$(@#*$&@ ONE freaking hour. Never mind… A day out travelling on public transport will allow me to have a glimpse at some of the cars drivers drive :)

So gonna miss studying when I embark on IA, and the converse is true. What the hell is wrong with me la. LOL.

I really think I will need to spend a bit of money to fix my poor desktop. Something seems really wrong with the HDD. Despite doing all I can with what I know, it seems like the poor machine decides to take its own life. It keeps rebooting itself for no reason! On top of that, it doesn’t boot properly into the Operating System.

Have all the reasons to suspect that its going to die anytime, question is, when ?

I really do not know what really went wrong with this piece of metal. I really don’t know. Sure is frustrating as hell. YUCK.

Best part, no more warranty. Will need to spend a bomb to get it fixed by ACER people. I think I will take things into my own hands this time around. =X

There are a lot of feelings and thoughts going through me right now. Putting on a brave front is the best I can do (those who know me will understand how I feel)… There are so many things I don’t have an answer to, as I am taking and living one day at a time… Life is short, I don’t need to make my own life a living hell.

Speaking of which, e-learning week so far has been quite alright… Left some assignments to be done, which I am procrastinating. That’s bad! Argh. Attended my very first web conference. Kinda enjoyed it very much :) Although the timings are none the worse, 1 am Singapore Time. =X Over at San Francisco, its 10 am, where the conference commerce.

Ok, pretty much a short update today.

Disclaimer: Not all drivers drive recklessly. Some are awfully nice :)

I think most bus and cab drivers are F1 wannabe drivers… The way they drive, makes me think that their vehicle is a powerful vehicle…. -.-” And who knows where they learn their acceleration and braking techniques… Damn “safe” la… What the hell. I just pray my hardiest that the bus won’t get involved in an accident or something… =X

Cab drivers are no better… One of them sped at 130 km/h on ECP in the first lane. I was literally clinging on to dear life. It’s craziness… True, I am a speed junkie, but not in such a vehicle that’s not meant to be driven at 130 km/h. Amazing that no TP appeared. -.-” where are they when you really need them?! The best part is when they act blur anyohow drive, making you pay more…

I detest those act blur types, unless they are genuinely unsure, or that they are new drivers. Usually I will guide them… :P because I know the direct route from highway to my house, don’t need to go one big round as some drivers claim. :P

Another reason for me to learn how to drive and ditch the messy public transport. I lost track of the countless time waiting for the buses, countless time chasing for the bus and yet it won’t stop… Perhaps its just the people… or maybe perhaps the driver…

But all these probably just gave me a whole lot more reason to push to get my driving licence as soon as possible. I relish the thought of driving myself to wherever I want to go, to places where public transport are more of hassle… That would probably be so cool… :)
