I think I became a little more clever, or a little more stupid…depends on how you see it. Managed to successfully install Ubuntu Hardy Heron into the second HDD of my FYP workstation, and configuring it to access the Internet as well.
Nothing to be proud of, I know. But I felt a sense of satisfaction that I did it all by myself. Considering that I am a 99% Windows User, and I know nuts about Linux… But for the sake of my project, I had to delve into the unknown and challenge myself to learn something about it. Not bad for a first timer, doing linux installation, I reckon.
At least Hardy Heron is installed, and I manage to configure for remote access as well as install subversioning into the system as well. Now what remains of it is MySQL, Zope and Plone… *hmm*…
On the other note, I went to the PC Show yesterday with Eugene, and I managed to narrow down my choice of getting a camera… It’s either the Casio Exilm S-10 or the Sony T70. Both cost $499. I am more swayed to get the S10 as it contains more shooting modes to select from.
Am so looking forward to finalise my purchase tomorrow!~
