Finally, there’s closure. I can finally stop hurting and be hurt. Tis the time for healing and to forgive. But at least I laid the burden to rest. Now I can concentrate on loving thy self, to make my life better.

If I can’t love myself, I can’t love anybody else. If it has to, it has to start with me…

I am glad that its resolved. This chapter of my life has come to an end, its time to turn the page and start anew.

SYMBIO 2008 is a 1-day event that is organized by the Singapore Chapter of the International Society for Computational Biology. The event aims to achieve a 3-fold objective – to provide an invaluable opportunity for industry professionals to present and share their challenges, to provide collaboration opportunities for academia, scientists and professionals and to provide an avenue of exposure for students who are interested in the areas of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. At the same time, it is hoped that the symposium will provide an opportunity for students to get to listen to and to understand and have a feel of the current market trend in the industry as well as future study and research opportunities should they decide to further their studies after graduation. Speakers from NUS, NTU and research institutes including Novartis Institute for Tropical Diseases, Bioinformatics Institute and A*Star-I2R will be present for the event.

This symposium aims to bring together the industry, research institutes as well education institutes so that a future generation of computational biology scientists may be nurtured by spurring their interests within the different areas in bioinformatics and life sciences.

Venue: Theatre for the Arts, Nanyang Polytechnic

Thanks for all the concerns and care about myleft wrist. It’s much better now, in fact, almost back to normal, but am taking care not to strain it so much for a while

School’s opening real soon… and it’s a rare break for me to have such luxury to meet friends, chit chat, as well as attend events which are impossible for me if I am having lessons.
