FYP has got off to a bumpy start initially, but I can see it getting smoothened out in the process. What happened was I had a unstable machine, causing my Ubuntu to go cookie, which led my suspicions to intermittent hardware fault, that I absolutely can´t comprehend. To save time, the lab tech allowed me to switch to an adjacent computer. 
Since then I have been setting it up, so far so good, and in the midst of getting down and dirty with all that setup and code analysis. Partly, I got to understand the entire portal, and then start playing with Zope Server, Plone Content Management Systems as well as getting to know Python, my partner in crime for the next one year.
Hmm, I better get back to attending to the installation,
Seems like all is going well. Only can hope and keep fingers crossed.
