Reason being:

1) Easy to Use.

2) Ease of upgrading wordpress and plugins. (I heart the auto upgrade plugins)

3) Many are also using wordpress.

4) My other blogs are on wordpress platform too. (Nicole really has 2 more blogs).

5) Wordpress FTW (For The World)!
