Was invited to get a glimpse of Samsung’s latest offerings to the tech market, which they have done so on MWC, in Barcelona, Spain.

Yesterday was one of the productive days, at least for the mind… manage to look through 2 assignments and started on some parts of it. It’s kinda scary that the one week break is almost over, and it will be a mad rush from then on…
And I also manage to slay monsters to keep myself happy… No thanks to my addiction to the Lord Of The Rings Conquest after playing it at a shop in Plaza Singapura. So much so that Terence went to find out where to rent the game and console to feed that addiction once and for all.
Went to E2Max @ Cineleisure, and it will be my first and last time there. The first snag was that the Firmware of the PS3 wasn’t updated, and we can’t start playing unless we update it. (We didn’t pay to update the equipment, but to have a good time and play). So having said that, we feedback to the counter and they extended our play time by 15 mins.
Not too bad, at least better than nothing. And using the archer and warrior combo, we manage to finish the entire campaign, that is defeating Sauron. It was pure adrenaline, having to dodge the attacks, unleash combos and slash them all. 
My cup of tea.
After which there was still sometime left, we tried playing the evil fellas… and boy, its as good, if not, even better than the other campaign.
Best of all, there is privacy, as the PS3 are housed in a small private room away from the open arena. And that was my first taste of console gaming.

Working in a cafe, for a few hours in a row is quite a new experience, especially finding a nice spot with power points and wifi. Yes, I still rely on Wireless@Sg. Free and decent enough, depending on where you are.
I had a cup of juice with me, which is a wrong move, because I am right now typing with a pair of very cold hands and fingers, with music streaming through my ear phones, and my eyes glued to the screen, oblivious to everything else around me.
Hmm, manage to push a bit more of work through, at least I feel I am catching up with studies, but it still remains to be seen… well better than not having started on all assignments.

After reviewing the features of the Innov8, I had to get my hands on the Samsung Pixon. And I did, thanks to Daniel from Samsung.
The heart’s a whirl, and the mind’s a mess… To be frank, these days are passing by in such a blur, I can barely be aware of what is going on around me…
Maybe I have reach a stage of the transition in mental growth, and that’s somewhat a change I would resist at times. Not that the effects of the change won’t be good, but do I really need to? I guess so, if I don’t have a choice. I don’t even have a choice in the first place.
I guess that kind of confusion is only signaling the beginning of yet another transformation. The challenge to keep myself in check. In time to come, all will reveal itself…
As I questioned the unknown, a part of me wants to step in, a part of me hesitates. A part of me wants to ride the unknown wave, and be prepared for come what may. A part of me says no, I shouldn’t risk everything. But staying in sheltered harbor isn’t going to do me any good still.
I need to go out to breathe in air.

I am having a ball of a time at GeekTerminal, recording episode 108, and in this episode, loads and loads of mobile phone stories were mentioned. So look out for it!
Apart from that, today also marks the start of the one week recess week that both NTU and NUS students will have. It’s my last recess week as a student, and its a kinda bittersweet memory, because of all that work.
Yup… and I am so in love talking tech on Saturday!

Received my letter of GST credits payout… It’s good to receive a 500 SGD worth of cash, and that is going to come in handy getting me some office wear before I start work in May.
Its funny, that upon graduation, I would be worrying over more bread and butter issues, than my studies. The carefree days of being a student is almost over.
You see, almost every student has taken loans in one way or another to pay through the degree program, but I guess I took quite a number of loans. Its going to be probably a bit tough for the next one or two years.
But I guess, I will just have to tighten my spending, and pay off the loans.

Am dreadfully busy. Loads of homework, project, assignments and blog posts are piling up! Oh dear me. But I am still having a ball of a time with everything.
Weather has been creating havoc on my health, and no thanks to the weather, my sickening headaches have persisted. Feel like taking the axe and chop the head into two at times. Its that awful.
Been getting even more excited with stuff going on these days, and oh, I can’t wait to talk about it right here on my blog.
I should be sleeping, but I am still waiting for my camera battery to be charged.
Did I mention that next week is recess week for NTU? I will be swamped with work as usual, but am thankful for the last recess week that I will be having as a student. Funny, how all these easily taken for granted breaks can be a life saver
