It’s been an amazing journey since I started poly, and onto university. I can’t express my feelings enough for the whirlwind moments from day one of entering a higher learning institute.
Though the journey is never smooth, I am glad to say that I learnt a lot through laughter and sorrow. Along the way, meeting people which touch my life in one way or the other makes the journey worthwhile.
And the journey continues on… onward to the next chapter of life.
At this point in time, I am starting to clear my horrendously long backlog of entries, due to school work, fyp and exams. And yes, most of the entries you see might have been backdated. Haha. But better late than never la
I am enjoying my holidays, though some say its too short before I start work, but that’s ok, because I am looking forward to start work too… lol… I know I know… I hear the groans and stuff from waking up early.
Am kept very busy for now… and the degree of business is still manageable.
I manage to learn different things about myself the past few days, and I must say it’s been a while. Welcome back.
After the final exams, the whole load of us decided to have a gathering and some board game fun before each of us step into the working society… and I brought them to Geek Terminal for lunch.
They revamped their menu, and the good ‘ol Soft Shell Crap Pasta disappeared. Oh well, but I am sure, their latest offering do not disappoint.
Topping up for just about 4 dollars, you can get a soup and coffee along with your choice of main dish.
It so happened that the soup of the day was mushroom soup…
Tasted so good, I can’t help but wonder if I can have more… but I would rather save my stomach for the main dish…
Pasta with Peanut Cream Sauce, along with brinjals, sausages and tomatoes. Sounds weird? A few of us ordered this and we were in for a surprise. (It’s a chef recommendation too!)
For a start, it smelled so wonderful, and I was hooked onto the taste after a few bites. The peanut sauce wasn’t too thick and coated the pasta beautifully, and boy, it’s quite feeling, despite the serving portion being a bit smaller. I bet it’s all in the sauce
Of course, no meal is complete without the coffee… and yup, I’ve photos of some coffee art…
On the whole, we had a very great lunch at Geek Terminal. Thanks Danny for helping me with the reservation for our group of 8.
We then headed off for a few rounds of board games at PitStop Cafe, where we laughed our hearts off, and enjoyed the times there
Our group picture! And we rarely have this many people in one gathering.
Had a very good time out yesterday… which explains that I was totally offline, and haven’t had time to check my emails! But it has been a very enriching and learning experience for me, as an amateur photographer.
The shots are in, and it’s in need of some post processing. The subjects of this shot, are people, and the 2 Audi’s A6.
My first time shooting with his Canon DSLR, and boy, I love it. I don’t mind trying shooting with other DSLR’s. Hehe… Though it feels really heavy in my hands, but I like the vibrant colors as well as the selections I can really use…
Will post them here when it’s done. Perhaps, some shots from my point and shoot digital camera at the moment will suffice.
All in all, went to quite a few places, and it’s one hell of a luck that the weather held back the rain, as it was raining for the first half of the day. That upset a few plans for the shoot, but we yield up good shots

PS: The wrists is back to 100 percent functionality! Woohoo!
The wrists is getting better, and I thank everyone for their concern
And yes, I’m getting used to the feeling of transiting from student to work. =X Yup, am starting work on the 18th of May. Another significant date to remember.
Oh yes, I can’t wait to get back to regular blogging!
