My mum loves to sew and make things, more so from materials such as t-shirts, jeans and other cloths that she may find useful (Talk about recycling!), and it’s no surprise to me that she makes some of the nice bags that I can never figure out where the patterns were from.
Just recently, she incorporated two t-shirt designs into bags… and got my cousin very happy with the bags.
By the time this post is published, I am most probably out of the house by now. *Hails the power of scheduled posts*
Well, I am off to spend quality time with the bf, and also to catch Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. Catching it at Cathay Cineleisure, 1845. Booked our tickets early, yay!
Grew up watching transformers, and yes, I am quite a fan of Transformers.
Cool wallpaper?! Look closely…
If you look up closely, you can see my eyes… Well, I did not transform into Bumblebee, but… thanks to a function on the Transformers website, I got myself Robotized!
Simply upload a shot of yourself, or use the web-cam to capture ur image. After customizing the robot, your face will be super imposed on it, and there you go, you are robotized!
Just wanna share this song, that is a tribute to Michael Jackson.
The world lost a talented musician, and yet, his music will live on.
Not a very big fan of MJ, but his music is wonderful, and never cease to move me to my feet… Now that he has gone on to the other side, may he rest in peace.
Another week has arrived, and it’s almost the end of June.
The weekends blasted by and yes, I had such a busy weekend that it left me feeling mixed up of sorts. LoL. I reckon that I didn’t get enough rest.
H1N1 seems to worsen here in Singapore, and yes, I am starting to feel a little worried. Not to the point of paranoia, but I can’t help but wonder, if community spreading occurs, wouldn’t reducing the number of MRT trains make things worse?
I still am puzzled by the lack of courtesy and civic mindedness to cover their mouth when they cough or nose when they sneeze… Just encountered 3 commuters in the same cabin when I was travelling to work. I noticed that some were coughing very badly, and I wondered if they could have stayed home instead of going to work.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel very stuffy and on the verge of having shortness of breath in the train, like there’s only stale Carbon Dioxide and no moving fresh air. =X
Of course, it didn’t help that the trains were packed like sardines every morning. The only consolation I have is getting a seat at Tampines, and let it go to Pasir Ris and back, otherwise, the train will be too packed to even board at times.
The weather didn’t make it easy for everyone to be in the pink of health, with the burning hot and dry weather to wet and wild weather from time to time, like mood swings.
Am trying my best to stay healthy, and I will stay home when unwell.
The worse is not over, I believe. Though I much hope that it will be over soon.
Final Year Project (FYP) is a step where all final year students in NTU must undertake, as part of the requirements to graduate with a degree. And I was no exception.
Terms like Finish Your Professor, Final Year Punishment, Find Your Partner, are amidst the many terms that I come across, and yes, I chuckled at these terms.
It was a trying year, doing my FYP, to say the least. For some reasons, whatever went wrong simply just went wrong.
I’ve lost count of the number of days I lost sleep over the project, the frustrations and tears that I cried during the project, trying to cope with my study load and the project, as well as rushing the report for submission.
Many thanks to my family, the boyfriend – Terence, as well as my friends for all the wonderful support and encouragement during the course of my project.
Though I didn’t really succeed in meeting all the objectives that I set out to, but I learnt a lot of lessons that classrooms can’t teach. And yes, it is these lessons that taught me a great deal on how to deal with other issues in life.
Now who says grades are the most important? There are other more important things in life than to grades.
