For the uninitiated, I love stars. The shape that is. And this is one of the few shapes I adore so much that I will never be sick of it.
I recalled being fascinated and in awe of these patterns at Prints, where they sell loads and loads of colored paper. And I remembered seeing something I really like. A notebook covered with silver star prints. Unknowingly, he made a mental note to get that for me, seeing that I like it very much. However, I just chucked that aside at the back of my mind, because I didn’t want to purchase it there and then.
Imagine my delight when he presented it to me, as a gift… because I never saw that coming. And it was the right size that I was looking for.
Pretty happy to have get my bottle of perfume, and here’s the pictures
The box of the perfume…
and this is how the bottle looks like
You see, this scent, Ralph by Ralph Lauren has always struck a chord with my sense of smell, and I absolutely adore the notes of this perfume.
It’s especially meaningful to me, because in the past, I couldn’t afford to buy it, but now I can. It’s been a long way, and it shall be for the better.
Big thanks to the BF whom bought it for me and brought it home from overseas. Grateful that he took the trouble to sms me and ask me what I wanted

PS: I am starting to go crazy over makeup, apart from being geeky. =X
Whats up beautiful people?! It’s already mid-week Wednesday.
Countdown to Convocation – 14 days.
Countdown to Graduation Dinner – 10 days.
Oh gosh, I am starting to feel slightly nervous, for all the wrong reasons.
Feeling thankful I could secure a car from BlackLiner, to fetch the family down to NTU on Convocation, as well as secured extra 2 tickets to ask my sister and the bf along to witness my convocation.
Work wise, learning loads of new stuff, and it’s still an eye opener at the difference between school and work.
Am here at SMU, School of Information Systems, and the tech65 crew are here to cover the event. Hisham, Ntt, Dk, Ridz and myself are holed up in a room with loads of gadgets, entertainment, and loads of banter and chatter…
It’s kinda nice to be surrounded by loads of happenings, and that the Night Festival was a blast, as I caught some segments of it.
Coffee and bantering with the crew is keeping me awake, though I might just sleep. I don’t know though, it’s like 4.10 am now as I am writing this.
If this blog post is not making sense, pardon me for I am just feeling stoned.
Well I can’t exactly describe how I am feeling now, I guess all is well, and keeping my cool head at the moment, even if there are issues I face day-to-day.
In the midst of acquiring a new phone… Threw my plans of having an iPhone 3GS out of the window immediately after looking at the price tags. Because if I were to sign up for a subscription plan of $39.00 (the cheapest), I would have to pay at least close to $700 after all the misc charges, such as new SIM card etc. Cos I am still with Starhub.
Though I started working, it’s still not appropriate to splurge so much on it, though I really want one, thanks to AppStore. Well, without app store, Apple won’t be enjoying such status. I may never get to experience first hand what an iPhone can do, but what can I do if my wallet gets too much damage?
I am happy for those who will be getting their iPhone 3GS, but as for me, I know I can’t afford it.
For the record, this is my current mobile phone.
It’s a humble SonyEricsson Z200i. Nothing fanciful, not even Bluetooth, nor Camera.
I know people would probably shake their heads at me, and wonder why I didn’t upgrade. Well, let’s just say that times are hard, and I know my financial situation won’t allow me to upgrade my phone to something better then.
And I am also not lucky enough to win phones in contests or lucky draws I take part in. Oh well.
Perhaps I should really just go out and get the Samsung Jet… or is there a kind soul willing to sponsor me a phone? (Kidding).
If you think I should consider other phones, please leave me a comment.
My latest addiction? Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2.
Work – challenging, busy and fulfilling at the same time, what more can I say?
Personal – Up and downs as usual. I need a break!
Been feeling extremely tired, perhaps my mind needs an awfully good break.
In the meantime, I got myself loving Starbucks Tea, Coffee, as well as their Wholemeal Bagels, Cranberry and Walnut Toast. It’s awesome, and I can have it over and over again, that I won’t feel sick of it at all!
This is a totally random post here, because yours truly is so pre-occupied with stuff.
Am torn between the HTC Magic and the Samsung Jet. Gotta make a choice soon.
Yesterday was a day of sorts. Went to record 65 bits with the Tech65 crew, suffered a minor concussing knock on the head at Fullerton Starbucks, and made my way clumsily to Serangoon Broadway, to collect my academic gown. Got lost, thanks to all the construction around the area.
It’s a surreal moment, as everything was so organized and dealt with in a calm and professional manner, even though the studio was quite crowded. Impressed. Paid up for the gown and tried it on. Can’t believe I am getting to wear it after 4 long years. The mortarboard still needs some time for my head to get used to.
After that, it was a group of girls shopping in Orchard, from one mall to the other. It was craziness, with heavy bags. Not to mention that I manage to snag myself a nice belt.
Endless shopping later, ended up at Yoshinoya for dinner. After that, not long after, I went home.
