At the point in writing this post, 10 days of treatment has passed. For the uninitiated, I have embarked on a skin treatment program to treat my blemishes and scars.

The hardest thing is to keep my hands off the face, but I am glad I am able to do so for most of the time, and keeping to a regime of medication and creams/lotion application.

My first attempt to getting my condition treated, and I must say that I am beginning to see improvements to my face. It was further affirmed by my other friends who told me that the face is starting to look better. I’m quite encouraged by the results too. It’s a form of motivation to me.

At this point in time, I shall not put up pictures of my improved complexion, unless there’s an overwhelming amount of requests.

I’m placing faith in the medication that I’m prescribed to take, and follow the instructions as diligently as I can. You don’t know how bad I want this to work out.

Another 19 days before the follow up appointment with the doctor.

Recently went to the Science Centre with XinYun, Chillycraps and Xizor. And toured the Da Vinci Exhibition.

No photography was allowed in the exhibition hall itself. Many replicas were on display, as well as some interactive ones that engages hands on, understanding the different concepts and inventions.

I would admit that its impressive that Da Vinci thought of it, which paves the way to modern inventions of today.

Perhaps my expectations is set too high (no thanks to the endless commercials about this exhibition on tv), I found myself not too impressed by it.

Nonetheless, its a great experience to tour this rare exhibition, and understand the secrets of Mona Lisa and the Last Supper.

Lenovo Thinkpad X200 is one of the smallest and light laptop that can withstand shock, as well as being water resistant. I totally enjoyed using the X200, and this is coming from a first time Thinkpad user.

Looking back, its been a while since I last sat down and reflected on myself… and I was struck by the timeline. Shortly after school ended, I started working, and it has been about 3 months.

I started to learn how to improve my dressing, and I am still learning… make up, and started paying more attention to myself. It also has gotten to a point of being motivated enough to seek treatment for my skin problems. I pray that the treatment works out well.

I twitted about wanting to visit a skin specialist. And on 21st August 2009, I took the plunge and went ahead to see one at Novena Medical Center, Loke Skin Clinic Pte Ltd. Being my first time there, I was quite taken aback by the sights around the Medical Center. It’s nice, relaxingly nice.

Shortly after waiting for 10 minutes or so, I got to see the doctor. He’s awfully nice, as he explains to me the steps to approach and solve the problem that I have.

Apparently, I have 2 problems. (1) My skin is oily, and it will remain so for the next couple of years. (2) My pimples leaves me scars (genetically).

So my treatment involves taking oral medication, and application of lotions to bring down the problem to a more controllable state. Now is to prevent new pimples from popping out, then eradicate the scars. It will take me time, but I am prepared to go through the period of treatment.

Thankfully, no dietary restrictions, just no facials, and avoid sunlight. This is to ensure that my scars don’t get darken.

One month of medication before follow up appointment. And I feel that the price I paid is pretty reasonable.

Am hoping this will change something I always wanted to do since a few years back.

It’s 22nd August, and yes, I become older. Ah well. Happy Birthday to me. But at the same time, it’s Happy 1st Anniversary to us – Terence and Nicole.

I’m grateful for the opportunities and the blessings that came my way, and life was never quite the same since school ended.

It also marks the start of chapter 24 of my life, and as the days pass, I will make it a point to log it down in this blog, or perhaps start a tumblr or something. Either way, I hope to make a more conscious effort to blog as often as I can (backlog is not getting any smaller =X )

Everyday is a new day, a new chance to make things happen.

Am feeling much better, now that I manage to clear all the doses of antibiotics, save for the last one tonight. A nasty throat infection knocked me out for the weekends. But I’m quite glad to have some much needed rest.

Another work week, and this time, it marks the end of my 3 month probation. woohoo!

I shall sneak in more rest time this week, because I still have a slight bout of runny nose, and cough. And the last thing I want is to sleep in another weekend.

Shall get started with all my backlog of posts once again.

Just as I lined up my weekends, the throat infection came. Ah well.

Guess I will just need to rest up. To gear up for the busy week ahead.

The throat infection caught me at an untimely manner, and being on the verge of voiceless is not funny.

Its whirlwind madness day in day out.

While I am happy to be busy, my personal time with myself is almost zero. We shall see, over the weekends.

Meantime, it was a great evening yesterday with NTT, and the rest of the people there. Gonna miss you dude, but all the best for your studies!
