Been hearing Justin mentioning all about Hackerspace, and yes, I am slow enough not to dig up and read up all about it. Personally, I feel that it would be really really cool for a place where ideas will hatch!

So, to do my part, I shall make this post a quick shout out for Hackerspace Singapore.

What is Hackerspace?

Hackerspace, in its fundamental essence, is a place for people who love to explore, experiment, tinker around, create, and innovate to come together, work on their cool ideas, and show it off. It is also a place where various communities can host their events, gather to discuss, and hang out after their events.

It would be lovely to have a place for Hackerspace Singapore to call $HOME to… where loads of cool stuff will happen.

What would be better than me just saying all this? Read the slideshow for more information.

Personally, ideas are only improved when one receive feedback. You never know that there are like minded people out there

Alright, so much for this post on Hackerspace. I do hope you will be able to gain a better understanding about Hackerspace, as much as I did.

Lucky 7!

Ok, have not been writing, due to a influx of work, attending events, and busy catching up with friends.

My schedules are still looking packed, but I still have to make time for different people and different activities.

• Attended HTC Event yesterday
• Returned the Canon EOS 500D reviewed unit. (Sad that it’s gone, but I had a very good time with it)
• HP TouchSmart 300 is coming! w00t!
• Loads of things to do – sending photos, blog, upload stuff, replying emails!
• Thinking of getting a Flickr Pro account

Loads more stuff ahead… looking at the schedule, shake head But we shall see. We shall see.

Gazing through the crystal is like trying to peek at the future, except that the crystal reveals nothing, but emitting beautiful rays of light that shines through it.

Been doing a lot of thinking, and making decisions that only time will tell if I did the right thing, but I certainly hope so.

Things may not look too rosy at the moment, but I believe that the end is near, for a new beginning.

To all the friends who care, thank you so much. It means a lot to me. No names needed to be mentioned here, you know who you are.

The darkest days are over, and I guess I am ready to work hard, and play even harder.

Bring it on, whatever life may take me through. For I know I will never be alone.

Feeling relatively calmer, though the workload remains.
At least I have a goal work towards to, career wise.
Which I see myself in the same path too.
I have to learn to grow.
When screw ups occur, I learn.
Everyday is a learning journey.

Changed my blog theme. Hurray! Well, I figured that this site needs a little refreshment, thus the change of theme. First time trying out with a left sidebar, instead of using the usual right sidebar.

Still on a lookout for themes, and will change it as and when I find it.

Meantime, I’m still feeling swamped. But let’s leave that for another post.

I’m in the midst processing loads of photos. Will throw them to the cloud real soon.

So on this beautiful rainy Sunday morning (in Tampines), I am off to strike things out of my to-do list.

While waiting for one of my programs to finish downloading, I thought I shall take the time to sneak a post in.

Have not felt at ease for quite a while. Partly, I am worried over the project, and yes I am feeling the pressure to finish up my work at hand. Didn’t help that I don’t know ASPx at all, and it’s still a struggle.

Made progress with creation of master pages, and the User Interface is more or less done, but I still can’t figure out how to link to the database. To make matters worse, my sql isn’t strong. In fact, I pray hard I won’t mess it up.

I foresee a long night ahead for me.

But I still want to sort out my stumbling blocks with aspx.

• Took the Canon EOS 500D for a weekend shoot, 2 days in a row. Aching body, but feels good
• Attending my second Omakase at Standing Sushi Bar today
• Duper busy with work

Was at Wilkie Edge in the morning for weekly podcasting of 65bits with the crew.

Ok, I’m missing because I was behind the camera.

Pretty much intrigued by the pattern of the ceiling…

The Starbucks there was quite packed, given a Saturday morning, but overall, still peaceful.
