Food for thought…

My awesome hamburger for lunch on Sunday.

Did I also mention that I chow down slices of tomato separately on its own? :P

Ok, I hope this doesn’t make anyone hungry. Actually, I think you all are immune to my food posts. Well, if you want more food featured, let me know…

For some reason, I love homemade burgers. Now I want to ask my dad to make me some Carl’s Junior style burgers. Burgers, anyone? :P

the week that whiz by

my life Comments Off

Today is just one of the days I wish I could kick back in a cafe, with a cup of tea, a book in hand, and maybe a more relaxed mind.

Am glad to have gotten it over and done with one part of the project at work. Looking forward to a good start on Monday, when I head down to site again…

Loving my new hairstyle, because I get to mess it up or tame it as and when I like, and whatever mood I have. Though I must say I am very pleased with the hairdo… fuss free to maintain, and easy to style :P

I shall sign off now, for there’s the weekly podcast to do with the Tech65 crew.

Chop Chop Updates 2

my life 2 Comments

Seems like my chop chop updates are a good way to force nuggets of information out :P

  • Pampered myself with a haircut. Got my stylist to do something drastic, but I really like it, for a change :P (if you want the photo, go look at my twitpict, or wait for me to post here)
  • Gonna continue to work hard, and stay hungry for more knowledge.
  • Feeling a part of me is ready to let go of the bad past, and let’s just hope I will be able to let it go completely soon.
  • Grueling challenges ahead, but I am sure the ending will be sweeter.

Reviews coming in real soon. (Sorry, this week is a total wreck) :P

By the time you read this, I am at somewhere else, doing what I can for a project. Hope all goes well.

  • Attended Norton’s 2010 Launch event yesterday at the Singapore Flyer. Can’t wait to share more with you guys. :)
  • Started self learning on design principles. Good way to kick-start a continuation in one of my interests.
  • Looking forward to finish an accessory for Halloween. (Just for fun)
  • On a totally unrelated news, I am happy to have been able to step out of my bout of depression.

Alright, that’s my super chop chop snippets post.

PS: Written minutes before sleeping, and scheduled this. :P

Comfort Food 1

my life Comments Off

Another food post, and this time, it features one of my comfort foods.

Macaroni soup with shredded chicken – simple, tasty and not too nasty on the digestive system… Great after having too much good food, for something simple can help clear up the stomach :P

Are you tempted yet? :P

Delightful Desserts

my life Comments Off

One particular dessert that caught me totally by surprise would be the Gui Hua (some flower) with Pear. Dad said its very nourishing and good for the complexion. :P

A close up shot (pardon this lousy photo – the Samsung Jet don’t perform well in dim lighting conditions) ;P

It has a light and refreshing taste on the palate, and makes the dessert really easy to eat, and does not make one feel bloated.

The yummy goodness is easily digested, and makes one feel good – as I mentioned before, skin food! :P

I shall leave you to drool :P Tell me what you think of it ok? Oh, if you have other desserts that can help nourish the skin, share them with me too!
