I am still battling a monster called depression.
Sometimes the medication I take triggers it, at times, it’s my self inadequacies that is acting up.
Either way, I will be ok I guess, with wonderful friends like you, you and all of you.

Gotten the Nokia N97 less than a month ago, during a lucky draw at the Nokia Christmas’09 Party, and its thanks to Nokia, Text100 for the lovely invite to the Pierside, One Fullerton.
The phone functioned very well, till 31st December 2009, Eve of the new year. It literally died on me, on my way to dinner. I was relying heavily on Google Maps to guide myself to Dempsey Road, when the phone froze and refused to start up after that. I’m pretty much horrified. Because I didn’t carry a spare phone with me, I have no way of contacting my friends.
Big thanks to Neo for lending me his spare phone to tie me through the ordeal (can’t think of a better word to describe this experience).
Decided to find a way to fix this White Screen of Death problem. To put it simply, White Screen of Death (WSOD) is basically having your Nokia phone having a white screen and nothing happens after that.
What I am going to share here, is a simple tip to recover your phone from WSOD. I tried it, and it worked, else I won’t be sharing it here with you
Chanced upon the solution at Nokia’s Support Discussion Forum
So here are the steps to revive your bricked phone:
- press and hold”from the full kaypad”: the backsapce key + space + caps lock
- while holding these keys power on ur phone
- keep holding until the time zone selection is appeared
It should work, and revive your WSOD-ed phone.
Oh yes, note that all your data and settings in the phone memory will be erased. But whatever’s saved in the Mass Memory or your external memory card, its safe. I checked it and all my photographs and downloaded apps are still safe.
Alrightey, may this tip come in handy if your Nokia Phone ever WSOD

It’s the first work day of the year 2010, but here I am down with MC at home. Well, I had a nasty case of Tonsils Infection, where the left tonsil was infected with pus, a voice breaking sore throat and the usual ailments that followed: Fever, Cough, Stuffy Nose, Body aches.
My fever was one of the nastiest to date, having cold and hot spells. Kinda enough to send me to bed for almost 24 hrs. Not a pleasant experience on New Year’s Day. It was only on the 2nd Jan that I hauled myself to the doctor, thus I learnt of my ailments.
Tonsils Infection is quite rare for me, and thus there ain’t any causes I could think of that might have triggered it. Ah well. Medications galore, but thankfully I am getting better.
Thus for this year, my aim would be simple, to pace myself in schedule, and to have enough time to rest, and stay healthy.
I must add that having an illness at the start of the year ain’t really a good thing, but I believe in better things to come, having bounced back up from being sick
Have a blessed 2010 ahead. And yes, I will be bringing you more content than ever.

O Hai, and welcome 2010.
To start of 2010, I am down with Tonsils Infection. Tortured the hell out of me, because of constant pain. Am glad that I made a quick trip to the doctor, lest I am getting too wobbly from all that pain…
Despite having a illness to usher in the new year, I remain optimistic that things will get better, and it will be better than the 2009. We shall see
I had a blast since Christmas ‘09, the Hat-py Party organized by 24seven, and a cosy dinner, laughter filled time at HackerspaceSG… what more can I ask?
Ok, this shall be the last of its personal updates from me, as I prepare to post more stuff, that’s backdated, and whatsoever that’s coming your way.
