8 days till end of IA…

5:00 pm my life

In less than 8 days, Internship Attachment will officially come to an end… Honestly, this has to be quite a challenging and fulfilling semester for me, because it gives me a taste and a glimpse of what the industry can offer…

To be frank, I am happy to have been posted to this company of mine, and a big thanks to a friend for his timely and wise advice for me to try it out.

Credits and thanks must be given to my mentor as well as my fellow colleagues, for their guidance, thus allowing me to improve on my skills and learn new things… without them, my tasks would not be completed successfully…

Who can forget the times we go out for lunch as a group, enjoying the company of one another… Who can forget the times of joy and laughter… I can’t… I can’t bare to leave it all behind…

Even as I leave, I will bring with me all those memories that I have, in this 6 mths. :)

Ask for extension if you cannot leave that place. 3 months of break is too long from what I see.

Skills learnt are important. But IA is a time to watch office dynamics. Are the geekiest in management? Or the loudest in management?

When I was in IA, I find my workplace slightly Dilbertish. The engineers tend to dislike talking features with management while the management dislike talking budget with the engineers.

Nothing bad, but just amusing. But at least the IT support guy was really helpful.
