aftermath of publishing exam results…
December 28, 2007 1:10 am my lifeI don’t know to laugh, or cry at this latest set of results… Yes, I endured a very heart-wrenching and agonizing wait to see this on my laptop screen…. with some of my friends online as well…
Honestly, some subjects were better than expected, like AI, I only expected a D, because I really don’t have the confidence to ace the paper… Besides it’s an open book paper, and I really have no idea what to expect for the paper… Another unexpected paper would be Database… I misinterpreted the questions… and I was freak worried…
Unexpected papers were SE2, which I thought I could score, but I was so wrong… as I put it, “bu gan xin”… No matter how good my practical skills are, it just doesn’t and will not translate into grades in theory… Thank goodness I passed OS, the paper that reduced me to tears so badly, I thought I am doomed…
I’m happy for my friends who did well… although I did not, but I should be contented in a way… Yes, I tried my very best, I even mugged my arse off during exams… I gave me more than I should… but oh well…
I hope I still have my friends’ respect, and that I am still accepted as who I am… I know my grades are sucky… it’s even more sucky than last semester… there is nothing much I can do except look forward to graduation…
I guess all the more I should excel in my skill sets…

You’ve done your best, and that’s what matters most.
You’re right in that you should try to excel in your other skill sets… Sometimes grades are not everything, it’s whether you can show that you can do work properly or not.

Just wanted to tell you it doesn’t matter what you score… It’s what you do that counts…and you’ve got my respect for all the passion and hardwork into the other things you’re doing…

please lor, if a person judge others just by grades, then he/she is just too shallow.
It doesn’t mean that if a person get straight A and he/she will be a happy person. On the other hand, being contented can be the key to happiness~
anyway, a lot of great people cmi in exam, so… maybe we can become great people =P

Here’s a piece of advice that someone gave me not long ago:
“In the end your grades are not that important. It’s the knowledge and skills, as well as the experience that you’ve gained that would really help you in the future.”
Hmm, not the exact words, but something lyk that la, lol… So cheer up, ya! ^_^

friends don’t judge you by how you perform in your study, but how you cherish the friendship and the way you treat them.
