It was a great evening spent at iShop @ Cineleisure yesterday, with my fellow Blog2u members and blogger friends, playing with the iPhone. Yes, the talk of the town.
Before I carry on, I would like to thank Blog2u for the invitation to the event. I had a lot of fun with my friends at the event, and there’s so many pictures to be talked about… In due credit, I shall talk about the iPhone. Perhaps a second post on the bloggers at the event.
Sit back and relax, for it’s going to be yet another long post. =X
That was what it greeted my sight when I reached the place. Where is the iPhone? Relax… it has yet to make its grand appearance… However something caught my eye… The iPhone skins! Designed by Roger Tan of Shuffle Art, these beautiful skins are set to up the eye candy of the phone….
Featured were the designs of 6 skins…
All the skins are equally nice.
The event started and ended very quickly, to give us a chance to touch and play with the iPhone.
Lo and Behold… the iPhone!
The packaging… and all the essentials like the charger is placed nicely within the box… *lovely*
And here I am, holding the iPhone…
Endoh is trying to type using the virtual qwerty keyboard
Maps on the iPhone is a nifty and useful tool for people like me, whom is getting used to being lost on directions at times… and it pinpoints the location fairly quickly…
Can you tell in the photo below, which is the first generation iPhone from the iPhone 3G?
I can’t tell very much, except that the colours are more vibrant… (which my camera failed to capture)
But there you go…
On the left – 1st Generation iPhone. On the right – the iPhone 3G
Doing advert for the iPhone.
Malique happily decided to leave his mark on the iPhone.
On the whole, the iPhone is a likeable gadget toy, but it has some parts which left me room to consider buying this gadget.
Ladies with long finger nails can’t use it, because the touch interface only responds to “flesh” and not nails. And nope, it doesn’t support the use of a stylus either. Another is that, the camera is only 2 Megapixel. No big deal to some, but it can’t take very decent pictures. Then again, depends on the conditions where the camera is used.
I still have questions on it, but thats like more directed to Apple because, they are the ones developing the iPhone. Why can’t the iPhone send MMS since there is 3G capabilities built into it? Why can’t individual sms be deleted, but rather, delete all the contents of a thread in one go?
If you can tolerate the flaws, and want a gadget to go with ur lifestyle, you might wanna consider the iPhone, else I’ll suggest to wait for other gadgets similar to the iPhone.
Once again, thanks to Blog2u for the lovely event invite.
