Oh hello!

Wondering if there are any readers still reading my blog… since I went missing in action for quite a while…

Right now, I’m taking a break from work and is in the midst of job hunting. Truth be told, I am quite enjoying my break, as this gives me more time to think things through and figuring out the next step. Not to mention that the amount of time that I have on my hands these days!

I would say, there are pros and cons of being unemployed… that said, I should just keep working on my long term plans.

Oh yes, I have yet to scribble down my thoughts on some stuff, as well as my Chiang Mai trip with the boyfriend. Stay tuned!

Thanks to Jiayi, Band PR, as well as the lovely folks at Science Center, I was at the Body Worlds Exhibition. It’s my first time visiting Body Worlds, and I was totally blown away by the exhibits on display.

Yes, yes, I had permission to shoot the exhibits, and please do not copy or use them without permission.

I just want to let you know that I have loads of photos to share, and I am organizing them as I go about writing. The Body Worlds exhibition coverage will be in a few blog posts, so that I won’t overwhelm you with all that photos and text.

As you wait for these posts, why not head down to Science Center and see for yourself as well? I believe its very educational and eye-opening, well at least to me. One can also purchase the books and other souvenirs of Body Worlds as well.

Sometimes, its just so hard to write here, about personal stuff… Especially when you know that there’s a high possibility that people may take it out of context. But then again, I am not too bothered.

I am still amazed that I continue to blog despite a hectic work and heavy social life. Guess I can’t stop writing, for writing has been and will be part of me.

Why do I blog? One of the few common questions thrown to me. Well, let’s just put it this way, I blog to document my life, to note down what I’ve gone through, the good and the bad days of life. I blog to update friends I do not meet often, and at least, they get updated with the aspects of my life.

It’s also through blogging that I get to meet new people, forge and bond new friendships. It also allows me to socialize and network at events.

At the end of the day, I will continue to blog. No matter how busy.

Changed my blog theme. Hurray! Well, I figured that this site needs a little refreshment, thus the change of theme. First time trying out with a left sidebar, instead of using the usual right sidebar.

Still on a lookout for themes, and will change it as and when I find it.

Meantime, I’m still feeling swamped. But let’s leave that for another post.

I’m in the midst processing loads of photos. Will throw them to the cloud real soon.

So on this beautiful rainy Sunday morning (in Tampines), I am off to strike things out of my to-do list.

Dear belove readers of nicole.sg,

Lately things have been happening too fast and too furious… leaving me to grapple with so many matters that sometimes I can’t even control.

My main concerns in my life (studies and final year project) is cropping up, and I have to do something fast.

This site remains updated, though on a slower scale, or through series of published posts that I schedule in any possible free time. Fret not, my tech reviews will continue here as well as on Tech65. My lust for gadgets and passion for technology is still very much strong and alive. Geek talk makes me happy.

I am not feeling really ok, and would appreciate understanding/hugs/love. If you wanna meet up with me, feel free to do so. But I will do my best to slot a meeting with you For those who need to look for me, you know how and where to find me. I am an sms/phone call/msn/email away.

Yup! What you see before you now is the new look of nicole.sg for 2009.

I’ve captured a screenshot of the old layout for keepsakes…

I like the previous layout, with all the autumn colour tones and the floral pattern.

What inspires me to change the layout to a cleaner layout, because I like the little shadows behind it, and further more, the nice little roll over effect when the cursor is placed on the link.

I hope my readers like the new layout as much as I do
