Reflective Photoshoot

my life Comments Off

Sometime back, I went on my first photoshoot with Shutter Journey of Singapore, and the theme was Reflections. Like Allan has mentioned, I picked the hardest topic for my first shoot. LOL. I didn’t think of it much and brought the Samsung NX-10 out for the shoot.

True enough, it’s not easy trying to capture reflections, and keep in mind of composition and other nitty gritty details. The weather wasn’t helping us much, but still, I had loads of fun :)

Of the whole shoot, this is my favourite shot:

and this:

The blurred object is actually the Nokia N900, which acted as a nice reflective surface to shoot the light with. You could also see the reflection of the Samsung NX-10 18-55 mm lens. :P

Had a very good time out yesterday… which explains that I was totally offline, and haven’t had time to check my emails! But it has been a very enriching and learning experience for me, as an amateur photographer.

The shots are in, and it’s in need of some post processing. The subjects of this shot, are people, and the 2 Audi’s A6.

My first time shooting with his Canon DSLR, and boy, I love it. I don’t mind trying shooting with other DSLR’s. Hehe… Though it feels really heavy in my hands, but I like the vibrant colors as well as the selections I can really use…

Will post them here when it’s done. Perhaps, some shots from my point and shoot digital camera at the moment will suffice. :)

All in all, went to quite a few places, and it’s one hell of a luck that the weather held back the rain, as it was raining for the first half of the day. That upset a few plans for the shoot, but we yield up good shots :)

PS: The wrists is back to 100 percent functionality! Woohoo!
