Back to FYP. Sigh.

Chilling out in front of the laptop now, and it kinda feels surreal that my school semester will be ending soon. I’ve still FYP to wrap up. I will do my best. Just less than a month for everything to end.

Mood swings, Emo moods, and feeling depressed are just part and parcel of everything. I am still learning to take things in my stride… Quite a difficult journey for me at the moment…

I know you guys have been standing by me, and supporting me, thanks so much…

I’ve 4 exam papers to seat for. And it’s the final round this time.

14th April – Simulations and Modeling
16th April – Distributed Computing and Intelligent Agents
28th April – Wireless Network and Mobile Computing

AND FYP Oral Presentation on 5th May.

Truly hope I will be able to graduate after all these.

First up, wishing my readers a wonderful Good Friday and Easter to you

I just reached home not long ago from School, where I was mugging in preparation for the examinations that will start next week… Though it’s a bit weird to be in school on a public holiday, but guess it doesn’t matter to me.

Managed to complete my readings for 1.5 subjects out of 3. Loads more to cover, wish me luck on that though. No matter how tough, I must hang in there, knowing that it will be over in a blink of an eye.

Wanna thank my friend for introducing to me Satay Beehoon from Boon Lay Market, because it has left me wanting more. Yummy yum~

It feels a little odd that this round of examinations will be the last in line for me… After which FYP Oral Presentation and I am through with my academic journey.

Loads of backdated posts to come…. which will appear as and when I write and schedule it.

What I have completed:

Quiz preparation (not through, but the least of my concerns), Distributed Computing Project.

What I have not completed:

Intelligent Agents Project (got started though), Simulations and Modeling (have to plant myself down and get the damn report done), and FYP.

Good news: No amendments required for the FYP Report. Thank goodness.

Bad news: Time is running out.

What I can do: Sleep just enough (No lazing in bed). Start exam revisions in the train. Work harder, faster and smarter.

Will I be able to finish all these? I hope so.

Am feeling kinda zombied. yeah. Bf is away to London and Italy. I miss him. Aww.

It’s Monday, and my last e-learning week of my 4 year course in NTU. Funnily, it feels like the norm as I go through the paces once again, except this time, juggling more things than I can handle.

The wee hours of the day proved to be helpful, doubling my productivity, which is a good thing. And I am humbled by the profound philosophy that my friend K has… Indeed an eye opening, and at the same time, left me pondering the meaning of life… (Shall leave this to another post)

Despite me sleeping at 3 or 4 am, and waking up at 9 am, I feel quite refreshed, just that the body feels more tired, but otherwise, I feel fine. Guess I exhuasted myself to a point where sleep comes easily. However, I am paying the price of screwing up my body system for now. Argh. Just 1 month more or so…

Ok, I think I’ve written enough for now. Time to hit the work!

Just submitted my FYP Report, and honestly, I feel I could have done a better job, but I guess its history. I did my best, though not the very best, but I hope to pass…

Now, on with my other assignments, as well as continuation of implementing my FYP. Yes, it doesn’t stop there… On hand, Distributed Computing assignment, Intelligent Agents, and Simulation and Modeling assignment. I just have to grit my teeth and bear with it I guess.

I am in for a very rough ride till 5th May.

How’s it going for all of you? It’s been 4 days that I got myself disconnected somewhat from my blog… but hey, this is what FYP can do… Ok, to give some credit, it’s more of school work, as well as FYP.

I have a lot of backlog as usual to write, but this will take a backseat for now… though I will try to squeeze them in as and when I can write them.

Deadlines looming as usual, and that I have to just give my best to meet them. Rather thankful to have a bunch of girl friends to work with, each of us rushing our own stuff, but with company, it makes it more bearable. *Thanks a bunch*

Nicole is currently being swamped with her Final Year Project as well as other assignments. Till she can breathe easier, the blog update rate will drop drastically. Though she finds reluctant to have fewer articles for the month of March, it is better that she concentrate on her FYP which is due in 2 weeks time.

She is also undergoing a period of tremendous amount of stress, and it’s a fine line between sanity and snapping. She is hoping she will be able to finish the project and submit it on time…

Meanwhile, Nicole wishes all the best to her fellow FYP mates too.

- Design Client Server system architecture from scratch. Can’t implement existing infrastructure.

Wireless Network and Mobile Computing
- 2 quizzes

Intelligent Agent
- Individual
- Use RePast toolkit, create an agent, with TileWorld
- 50 % of subject grading (good news)

Simulations and Modeling
- Individual
- 2 assignments

All these, plus Exams, Final Year Project.

I see deadlines as my best friend now.
