I had the “loveliest” journey home today… yuck… Okie, this entry might be wee bit long… so if ya wanna read… read on… “jump, die, no problem… jump dun die… then jialat” (no offence intended, but if u deem its offensive, let me know)

I boarded the train at about 15 mins to 8 pm… and at first nth seems wrong… except that the train did not depart on time… thats nt unusual, cos within one or two mins it will depart… then i heard the first announcement, “… this train will be delayed, we apologise for the inconvenience caused… ” Okie, this seems like trivial… so i ignore the notice and decide to read some of my notes, with music blasting in my ears… then more delays… another announcement, “for passengers that have just board the train, this train will be delayed, there is an accident near jurong east… ”

It din dawn on to me that the near jurong east station was clementi… i thought maybe a small accident halfway in between… so still no alarm bells set off in my mind yet… trained pulled out from boon lay… i thought, phew, at least can get home and eat dinner… then when the train reached lake side… it got delayed… and this time more same old announcements… then to chinese garden… still the same old news….

Once reached Jurong East Interchange… uh huh~… then the annoucement was, “An accident just occurred at Clementi MRT Station. This train will be delayed. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.” Gosh… what “lovely” news that was… =@

At this point, alarm bell in my head went off… hmm… I was assuming some guy jumped onto the track and got hit by the train and died… the thing is, why clementi ? Is it such a spooked station or a favourite station to suicide? of all timing, at around the evening peak hours? OMG… i am so so so unlucky to be caught in such a situation…

argh… by then i kinda started to freak out a bit… cos i was never caught in such situation before… =X

Then when i decided to take a cab home.. (yes my indecisiveness caused me a lot of pain), the train pulled into queenstown… holy gosh… so many pple crowding on the platform… and yes, there were many many irritated passengers, including me… made a beeline out of the station… and lo and behold… so many pple were flagging cabs… calling cabs… queue at ATM (which i had no choice but queue), and then an announcement saying, train services have resumed in both direction… what the toot…

needless to say, i wasnt damn please at all to hear that… was kinda annoyed and pissed la… now i was stuck right at queenstown… in a moment of panic, i called hendri… and he arrived to pick me up in a cab… aww… I paid for the ride home… thanks.. u are there when i needed u most… =D
now everyone say…. aww… =)

Gosh… and my nightmare din end there…. was stuck at highway near bedok~! why? a procession of 9 lorries and 3 buses with police escort… =.= what the… thanks ah… make my taxi bill shoot so high high… =(

and prior to travelling home, i kinda felt uneasy… and decided not to hitch a ride to clementi… but choose to take bus from hendri’s neighbourhood… was that just sheer coincidence? or simply… a sign of warning? kinda freaky and thankful though…

Okie i guess i better stop here… Uber long entry… but at least i feel slightly better after blogging…
